Dr. Elizabeth Kiboneka

Dr. Elizabeth Kiboneka, the Patron of Apt Consults has amassed over 25 years of technical expertise in health and nutrition programming within humanitarian and development settings. She holds a Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health, a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB) (MUK, Uganda), and an advanced diploma in Health Services management. V  She has vast experience in the clinical management of chronic and acute malnutrition, focusing on the development and revision of nutrition policy guidelines and capacity building for the Ministry of Health, UN agencies, local and international NGOs across Africa.

Disan Katende

Disan Katende, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Apt Consults, is a global health consultant keen on distilling evidence for healthcare decision-making. I am passionate about data-driven solutions focused on health promotion, food systems, and climate change in Sub-Saharan Africa. I have managed projects in Uganda, DRC, and South Sudan; focused on improving health and nutrition outcomes. In 2019, I was honored to be nominated as a Next Generation Delegate by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs for my contributions towards promoting nutrition and food security.

Ivan Mwase

Ivan Mwase, the Program Director of Apt Consults, has over 14 years of experience as a humanitarian, development practitioner, consultant, and researcher across Africa. With expertise in health system strengthening, maternal and child health, and nutrition, he has managed several multi-sectoral projects, mentored nutrition and medical professionals, and coordinated several health and nutrition assessments across Sub-Saharan Africa.  He has conducted extensive research with government institutions and UN agencies on chronic and acute malnutrition, food value addition, dietary diversity, maternal and adolescent health, and the impact of WASH interventions on health outcomes in underserved populations. This has further cemented his reputation as a trusted global health and nutrition expert.

Godwin Orach  

Godwin Orach is the Director of Research at Apt Consults, where he brings over  a decade of experience in health, nutrition, and food security research. He is known for his ability to design, implement, and lead high-impact research projects that inform evidence-based decision-making and drive policy change.

With a deep commitment to improving health outcomes, Godwin has been instrumental in developing strategies that strengthen health systems, enhance program effectiveness, and promote capacity building. His extensive work spans local, regional, and global scales, collaborating with governments, NGOs, and international organizations to address critical challenges in public health and nutrition.
